Daniel leads a team with 45 years combined industry knowledge. This knowledge base is applied in areas such as project management, procurement, facilitation and fit out completion resulting in a “total solution” for business requirements.

Daniel Ready

Managing Director

Following a lengthy career in sales across various industries, Daniel moved into commercial interiors over 20 years ago. While working hard to grow Shape Commercial, Daniel took on the extra challenge of part-time study and achieved qualifications in business management. Daniel is passionate about providing consultative, service driven solutions that are more than transactional and believes that is what makes the Shape difference.

Providing added value is a key factor in ensuring longevity of business relationships for Daniel. He has had extensive experience in managing the supply of services across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. Daniel believes anything can be achieved with a shared vision and a driven ambition for the future of the business. When not at work Daniel’s time is spent boating, mountain biking, and enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Our staff

Nicki Strong

Project Management. Nicki holds the middle ground and glues the departments together. Having worked in all aspects of sales, supply, and administration, and delivery of commercial furniture projects at Shape, Nicki is developing an enviable skill and ability to ensure customer expectations are more often than not exceeded. As well as being responsible for manufacture and logistics at Shape she also works hard to keep our online presence fresh and is the driving force behind many infrastructure projects at Shape.
Outside of the office Nicki enjoys her spare time with family on her bike or enjoying the beautiful Franklin beaches and regional parks.


Cindy is our Wairarapa Sales Representative. She joined Shape with a background primarily in Residential Interiors. Her passion and experience in Interior Design are valuable in her ability to visualise spaces and interpret clients’ needs. Moving to the beautiful Wairarapa from Wellington – Cindy has adjusted from the big city life to the smaller community and enjoys walks in the countryside and socialising with friends.


Hazel is our Accounts and Admin team member, has extensive accounting, office management and customer services experience, and is super approachable if you have any queries. Outside of the workplace, her main delights are her grandchildren, socialising with friends and her garden. If all three things align in one place, that’s the BEST day.


Keith is our dynamic and energetic warehouse manager. Having experience in managing logistical challenges in large organizations, with a background in joinery manufacture and installation, he is ideally suited to the delivery and installation time constraints of our industry. In Keith’s spare time, he works hard on his rural property and is very keen on keeping physically fit. You won’t catch Keith sitting down for long!


Russell is our Wellington Sales and Business Development representative. He will be servicing the Wellington region, providing commercial interior solutions. He is passionate about selling, and especially creating strong business relationships. Russell believes that “Shaping” a working environment where staff enjoy working in and feel comfortable, produces a more creative and successful business. Partial to a good joke and a laugh, and cherishes valuable family time! Russell enjoys escaping to his bush retreat whenever possible.
