Daniel and Eric have 45 years combined industry knowledge. This knowledge base is applied in areas such as project management, procurement, facilitation and fit out completion which results in a “total solution” for individual requirements.

Daniel Ready

Managing Director

Following a lengthy career in sales across various industries, Daniel moved into commercial interiors over 15 years ago. While working hard to grow Shape Commercial Daniel took on the extra challenge of part time study and recently achieved qualifications in business management. This coupled with experience in dealing with some of Australasia’s key blue chip companies Daniel is passionate about providing over and above service. Longevity of business relationships is a driving factor ensuring that added value is constantly strived for. Daniel has had extensive experience in managing the supply of services across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific. Daniel believes anything can be achieved with a shared vision and a driven ambition for the future of the business. When not at work Daniels wife and four daughters keep him busy with time spent boating, mountain biking and a shared passion for the outdoors.

Eric Nienhuis

Project Management

Eric’s career in commercial interiors spans more than 35 years. Having worked in almost every facet of the interiors industry, project management has become Eric’s discovered passion. The ability to juggle multiple project issues at once adds to the strength that Eric has in proven client relationship management. Eric is the go to person for everything technical in our product and product delivery. The networks that have been built along the way in supply and logistics are extensive and continue to provide Shape with the supply chain it needs to deliver on its promises. If there is a problem to be solved in completion of projects Eric is the guy. Outside of work Eric loves to travel and has a particular fondness of small South Island towns. This ties in well with his passion for fine wine, great food, and an excellent short black.

Our staff

Nicki Strong

Sales, Marketing and Administration. Nicki holds the middle ground and glues the departments together. Being responsible for essential services at Shape and keeping our online presence fresh, she is the driving force behind many infrastructure projects at Shape. Outside of the office Nicki enjoys spending time with family and she loves to blow off some steam with a good boxing session.

Joan Ziegler

Joan is our accounts guru. She keeps the machine working, the wheels rolling and the boys in check back at the office. When not cherishing time with her grand daughter Joan is an avid ballroom dancer and keen walker.


Cindy is our Wellington Sales Representative. She joined Shape with a background primarily in Residential Interiors. Her passion and experience in Interior Design is valuable in her ability to visualise spaces and interpret clients needs. Having recently moved to the beautiful Wairarapa, Cindy enjoys walks in the countryside and socialising with friends.

sam Taylor

Sam is our Auckland based Sales and New Business Representative. She hails from the Commercial Interiors Industry, previous to that she was the owner of a country Pub. Her love for interiors, consultative approach and ability to see her customer’s perspective enables her to find the right solution. In her spare time Sam has a busy toddler to keep up with, in amongst spending time with friends and family.
